Dr. Thara Augustine is currently practicing at Smita Memorial Hospital and Research Centre, where she provides comprehensive plastic and aesthetic surgical care to patients.

Dr. Thara Augustine is a highly skilled Plastic & Aesthetic Surgeon with extensive experience across multiple healthcare institutions in Kerala. Since July 2024, she has been serving as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at NIMS Hospital, Neyyattinkara, where she provides comprehensive outpatient and inpatient services, performing both elective and emergency surgeries.

Since January 2023, Dr. Augustine has also held the position of Senior Resident in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Government Medical College, Trivandrum. In this role, she attends twice-weekly outpatient clinics, manages both elective and emergency plastic surgery cases, provides pre-operative and post-operative patient care, oversees staff management, and conducts academic sessions for plastic surgery residents.

Her professional journey includes serving as an Assistant Surgeon in the Department of Health Services at Family Health Center, Bisonvalley, Idukki from January 2020 to December 2020. Prior to this, she worked as a Senior Resident in the Department of General Surgery at Government Medical College, Kozhikode from November 2018 to October 2019.

Dr. Augustine's diverse experience across various healthcare settings has equipped her with comprehensive skills in plastic and reconstructive surgery, patient care, and medical education, making her a valuable asset to the medical community in Kerala.
